Engage, Empower, Elevate Beaumont
Beaumont is a community built on pride, connection, and care—but lately, many residents feel unheard and overlooked. When long-time homeowners in Coloniale Estates speak out about the neglected property at 50th Street and Coloniale Way, it’s not just about weeds—it’s about feeling abandoned by the city.
We must restore that pride and rebuild trust.
Our Commitments:
- Put livability and safety first. Every city decision must consider how it affects families, seniors, and children—not just developers.
- Enforce property maintenance standards. Neglected lots and rundown spaces hurt community morale. We’ll hold property owners accountable.
- Restore transparency in development. The Dansereau development left residents blindsided. We’ll fight for clear, proactive communication.
- Support local businesses. A stronger business community means more jobs and a fairer tax base. We’ll create strategies to attract and retain businesses that serve residents and strengthen our economy.
📣 This is your city. You deserve to be heard, respected, and included.

🗳️ A Vote for Change. A Vote for Community.
Beaumont is at a crossroads. We can continue down a path of rushed decisions, neglected spaces, and broken trust—or we can choose something better.
The frustration you feel is real. The overgrown property at Coloniale Way, the towering apartment at 180 Dansereau Way with almost no parking, the potholes that go unfixed, and the snow that barely gets cleared—these aren’t isolated issues. They’re symptoms of a city that’s lost its way.
But together, we can change that.
✅ If you believe in responsible development…
✅ If you want transparency and accountability…
✅ If you’re ready for a city that listens and leads with heart…
Then I ask for your support.
Vote for change. Vote for a better Beaumont. Vote for leadership that puts community first.

🔍 Transparency & Smart Services
Residents are fed up with potholes, poor snow removal, and misleading budget charts. They’re asking: Where is our money going? Meanwhile, scooters appear at intersections, and a chart is released to convince us we’re not overtaxed.
This isn’t good governance—it’s spin.
Our Commitments:
- Reallocate funds to essential services. We’ll stop spending on ineffective programs and start investing in what matters—roads, parks, snow removal, and safety.
- Ensure budgets reflect community priorities. No more propaganda. We’ll publish clear, honest budgets and explain where every dollar goes.
- Demand transparency in hiring and spending. Rumors about nepotism and questionable hires deserve answers. We’ll bring accountability to City Hall.
- Fix the basics. Potholes, neglected public spaces, and inconsistent snow removal are unacceptable. We’ll make sure every neighborhood is cared for.

🌱 Sustainable Development Planning
Beaumont’s charm is being eroded by poor planning and unchecked growth. The skyline has changed, and not for the better. Residents are frustrated by developments that clash with our heritage and strain our infrastructure.
The apartment building on 814, towering over the historic church, is a symbol of what happens when aesthetics and community character are ignored. It’s not just about how things look—it’s about how they feel.
Our Commitments:
- Update the Land Use Bylaw (LUB). The 2019 changes have led to serious issues—like 54-unit buildings with only 3 parking stalls. That’s not sustainable.
- Introduce architectural standards. Let’s preserve Beaumont’s character with thoughtful design—brick and mortar that complements our heritage, not clashes with it.
- Require infrastructure before approval. Roads, parking, green spaces, utilities, and schools must be in place before dense developments are approved. We won’t let growth outpace livability.
🏡 Beaumont should be a place where families grow, seniors retire, and everyone feels at home—not a city built on shortcuts.

🚧Poor Planning: 180 Dansereau Way
The development at 180 Dansereau Way is a clear example of what happens when city planning loses sight of community needs. What began as a modest proposal ballooned into a 54-unit complex—with almost no parking and a single-lane back alley serving as the main entrance and exit.
Residents were shocked. Many had no idea this was coming. Why? Because the public notification requirements were weakened under the 2019 Land Use Bylaw (LUB). The result? A dense, high-impact development dropped into a quiet neighborhood with minimal consultation and maximum disruption.
The consequences are real:
- Congested streets where children play and families walk.
- Overflow parking spilling into nearby roads, creating safety hazards.
- Frustration and distrust among residents who feel ignored by their own city.
This isn’t just about one building—it’s about a broken process. A process that prioritizes developer convenience over community well-being.
What I’ll Do:
- Strengthen public notification rules so residents are informed and involved.
- Restore parking minimums that reflect real-world needs.
- Require infrastructure-first planning for all high-density projects.
- Protect neighborhood character through thoughtful design standards.
📣 The situation at 180 Dansereau Way is a wake-up call. We need leadership that puts people first—not paperwork.
